About Us

Sleep Train Foster Kids, a program of the Ticket to Dream Foundation™, a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit, was created in 2008 to make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of foster children in need. Through our program, we provide both in-kind and monetary contributions to non-profit foster care organizations. Our purpose is to support worthy charitable causes and non-profits, with particular emphasis on charities related to foster children.

Helping Foster Kids

Four Children on a Couch

The U.S. foster care system is home to over 400,000 children, many of whom have entered the system with few or no possessions of their own.

While foster parents are provided a stipend to cover basic needs, it is often not enough to cover all necessities. Additionally, foster parents can be grandparents or extended family members who also may need a little extra support. That’s where the Sleep Train Foster Kids program comes in — to help fill the gap.

The Sleep Train Foster Kids program has worked diligently with foster care partners to make certain we continually work to improve the lives of local foster children and provide properly fitting clothing, shoes, pajamas and holiday gifts for thousands of foster children in need through five collection drives. For children who have lost their family and are separated from their siblings, these small donations can mean the world, helping to boost their self-esteem and allowing them to fit in with their peers.

Sleep Train believes not everyone can be a foster parent, but anyone can help a foster child!
